MEETING INFORMATION
MONTHLY CHAPTER MEETINGS
The next Chapter meeting will be a lunch meeting on February 9th at 1130 hours at the Olive Garden Restaurant.
A representative from the Oklahoma Securities Commission will give a presentation on Investor Education (Fraud Detection and Prevention).
This will also be a very important business meeting to decide whether the Chapter will pursue a community project.
See the notes below from the January meeting for details (other mission suggestions are welcome).
Our meeting in January was a business meeting to discuss the Chapter activities for the near future and
to solicit candidates for the offices of President and Secretary for the next year.
The general consensus of the Chapter board members is that the lack of a mission limits the inclusion of younger members.
A proposal was presented that the Chapter consider a community project in conjunction with Cleveland County Aging Services to build
handicapped accessible ramps for residents who have the need and are eligible for assistance. The equipment and the expertise is available to
pursue such a project if the Chapter labor is available.
See the Newsletter for meeting details or contact one of the Chapter officers.
During our September meeting the Scholarship checks were presented by MG Rita Aragon to the three ROTC recipients.
Army Cadet Anthony Pham, USMC GySgt. Ferrell Koassechony, Air Force Cadet Andres Charry
